Meditation, they said, is very important. Alexandra sat in the middle of the empty pavilion. It was serene to say the least. Her flimsy dress gathered around her as she closed her eyes. Let it be known that she had been trying her best but her mind was restless. Somehow her senses were heightened by the fact that she had not been sleeping well lately. The nightmares were getting worse and the sense of paranoia crept under her skin so eerily that even the touch of the wind made her jump.
The young officer wanted to confide in someone. There was a pang of loneliness as if seeking for parental advice. The kind of emotional support she would never have. Her parents were not around and the elders didn't know much about them. Alexandra found that rather odd. She had been in Ravnica all her life. Traces showed throughout the house she grew up in. Or so at least it did.
Everything was hazy. History was there but memories...it was as if they were merely trickling. She knew who she was as a person. Alexandra knew the things that she liked or disliked. The blond knew what would make her tick and what made her happy. But the real problem was she didn't know why... It bothered her a lot and not enough meditation could answer it.
Her blue eyes slowly opened as she sighed. The session wasn't going anywhere so she decided to give up on it. From afar, she could here some movement. Alexandra defense raised up, slowly reaching for her bow. "Wh-who's there?" she said, trying to sound brave but failing altogether. "Show yourself!"
